The Story
The O’Brien World Team Slalom is a perfect snapshot of the bold design era of 1980s and early 1990s watersports. With its black base, electric purple and teal geometric graphics, and just the right amount of neon flair, this ski looks like it came straight off the dock at a summer lake house.
Built during a time when ski graphics were becoming just as memorable as the rides themselves, the World Team Slalom brings plenty of retro energy without needing to be on the water anymore. Its sharp lines and vibrant colors make it a standout piece for a wall, cabin, or custom LED neon creation.
Like all vintage gear, this ski carries the story of time spent outside — the sun, the water, and the adventures that came before it. Those little imperfections are part of what give vintage pieces their character, and once illuminated, the glow becomes the focus.
A classic piece of waterski history with a little 80s attitude, this O’Brien is ready for its next chapter. Just add neon.
Every piece comes complete with its power supply, dimmer, and hanging hardware. Pricing depends on your text and design choices — see it on the next step.
